What issues do you treat/what are your specialty areas?

I treat all issues for adult individuals. My specialization is in the area of Stress/General Anxiety, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and helping people navigate who are experiencing relationships that feel confusing, damaging, abusive, and toxic.

What type of therapy/style do you provide?

I primarily utilize Exposure Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy techniques and mindfulness-based coping skills. I have found that each client has different needs and goals. Some are seeking therapy to address underlying issues, increase self-awareness, and receive support on a weekly basis. Some are seeking to be educated about mental health and receive immediate practical coping skills for stress and anxiety. For this reason I offer the option of Therapy or my 8- week course in Stress,  Anxiety, and Perfectionism.

What is the difference between Therapy and your 8-Week Anxiety Program?

Therapy provides people the opportunity to be understood in-depth. I take time getting to know each person’s unique personal and family background as well as details related to recurring negative patterns in one’s life. I help client increase self-awareness, and thought patterns, and teach them coping skills relative to their unique concerns and any mental health issues, including diagnoses such as Depression, PTSD, OCD, etc.

My 8-week stress and anxiety Course, “The Pathway to Peace:  Leaving Anxiety & Perfectionism Behind” is a transformative journey towards inner peace. Throughout the 8-week course, you will hear my story of going from anxious-stressed mom, wife. and therapist to calm and peaceful. You will engage in a variety of mindfulness exercises, reflective practices, and action-oriented tasks to develop skills for managing stress and anxiety effectively, leading to a pathway towards inner peace and well-being.

Do you have an office or provide virtual sessions?

All sessions are provided via Telehealth using HIPAA-compliant system. No office visits.

What are your fees and do you take insurance?

Assessment Session $200

Therapy Session $150 (45 minutes) $175 (60 minutes)

Currently accepting self-pay clients. BCBS, Aetna, and Cigna will be accepted approximately late May/June 2024. Superbill with diagnosis code provided as requested for self-pay clients who wish to see out of network reimbursement. Limited sliding fee scale spots available.

Do you provide free phone consultations?

Yes! We can schedule a free 15 minute phone call to answer your questions.

What is your availability and how can I schedule a first session?

As of April 2024: openings Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please contact me for specific days/times as my schedule varies weekly.
